Product Spotlight: Pacifica Beauty Bronzing Sunscreen
Two things we are deeply committed to protecting are our skin and the environment (particularly our oceans and marine life), so when choosing summer sun-protection, it’s essential for us that the products accomplish both. That is why this summer we’ve become madly devoted to Pacifica Beauty’s 100% vegan, cruelty-free suncare line. All of the products are completely reef-safe (formulated without harmful chemical absorbers such as PABA, oxtinoxate or oxybenzone) and are free from all of the yucky ingredients such as petroleum, parabens, silicones, phthalates that we want to avoid as much as possible. What they do contain however are amazing skin-loving beneficials such as zinc oxide, coconut probiotics, jojoba oil, and water-resistant, broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection.
We especially love the Mineral Bronzing Coconut Glow Continuous Spray, as it provides a beautiful bronze-y glow and instant hydration, while at the same time protects our skin with broad-spectrum SPF 30 for up to 80 minutes. It’s also the first mineral-based non-aerosol sunscreen spray we’ve found that actually provides continuous spray without getting clogged after the first few uses, and goes on clear without any of that white residue typical of so many zinc-based sunscreens.
